Translation (H.R. Chandrasekhar)

For the pudding of Rama's name, Krishna's name is sugar
Mix with the ghee of Vithala's name and smack your lips

Bring the wheat of piety, grind in the stone of detachment
get the cream and spin the noodle with pride.

In the pot of heart, put the water of feeling
Cook with wisdom and serve in a large plate.

When you burp with satisfaction and feel the Bliss,
Remember Purandara Vithala, the Ananda Murthi.
