vasa<is jI[aRin ywa ivhay
nvain g&Ÿait nrae=prai[,
twa zrIrai[ ivhay jI[aRin
ANyain s<yait nvain dehI.

v˜s˜Õsi jeerõ˜ni yath˜ vih˜ya
nav˜ni g®hõ˜ti naro'par˜õi |
tath˜ þareer˜õi vih˜ya jeerõ˜ni
any˜ni saÕy˜ti nav˜ni dehee ( 2|22)||

2.22. Just as man casts off worn-out clothes and puts on new ones, so also the embodied Self casts off worn-out bodies and enters others which are new.
