akeertiÕ c˜pi bh¨t˜ni
kathayishyanti te'vyay˜m |
sambh˜vitasya c˜keertir
maraõ˜datiricyate ( 2|34)||

People, too, will recount thy everlasting dishonour; and to one who has been honoured, dishonour is worse than death.
